Safety Guidelines

Guidelines for Parents/Guardians:

  • Students should arrive to class on time. The warm-up at the start of class is compulsory and essential to prepare the body for exercise and prevent injuries. Flexibility and strength are key aspects of gymnastics, and a good warm-up helps students maximize their benefits.

  • Students can only attend the class/es that they have been enrolled in at the time of registration, unless registered for a trial. Classes are designed according to age and skill level, ensuring that each child can learn and progress at their own pace.

  • If you arrive early, please wait with your child in the designated waiting area until the start of their class. For safety reasons, children are not allowed to run around the gym, use any equipment without coach guidance, or enter the training area unattended.

  • We provide a waiting area for parents to stay during their child's class. If you need to leave the premises, please make sure to arrive 10-15 minutes prior to the end of your child's class for pick up. Prompt pick up helps us maintain the schedule and ensure that later classes are not interrupted.

  • Smoking, including the use of electronic cigarettes or any other form of tobacco or nicotine products, is strictly prohibited within the facilities we use. This policy applies to all individuals, including parents, guardians, students, coaches, and staff members.

  • Children cannot leave our training premises unattended. A parent or guardian must accompany them at all times and collect them from the premises complex.

  • Coaches are not available for discussion during class time. Any questions or concerns can be directed to the admin staff or the Head Coach on duty. For any additional queries or information, our team can be contacted via email at info@rebelangels.qa or by phone at +97433559983.

We appreciate your cooperation in upholding a safe and professional environment for learning.

Guidelines for Gymnasts:

To ensure a safe and productive learning environment, all gymnasts must follow these rules:

  • Be courteous to other gymnasts, coaches, and staff members.

  • Follow coach instructions carefully.

  • Do not use any equipment without a supervising coach or permission.

  • Treat the gym and equipment with care and consideration, including putting rubbish in the bin.

  • Before crossing any mats or equipment, look around for other gymnasts and yield to those in the middle of doing skills.

  • Do not leave class without informing the coach, even for trips to the bathroom, water cooler, or waiting area.

  • Spotting is only to be done by coaches - other students or parents are not allowed to spot gymnasts.

  • No food or drink (except water) is allowed in the training area. Fizzy drinks and chewing gum are not permitted during class.

  • Discipline and safety must be observed at all times for the well-being of all participants.

By following these rules, we can ensure that everyone has a fun and safe gymnastics experience!

Gymnastics Attire Guidelines:

To ensure maximum safety and focus during gymnastics training, it is recommended to wear fitted clothes. This is particularly important as the gymnasts will be performing skills that involve being upside down. Loose-fitting clothes can be a distraction for gymnasts as they may spend more time adjusting their clothes instead of focusing on executing skills safely. Therefore, it is best to wear clothes that fit well and are comfortable to move in.

To ensure the safety and comfort of all participants, please follow our guidelines for attire:

  • Girls are recommended to wear a gymnastics leotard. Alternatively, a well-fitted shirt that can tuck in, paired with shorts or leggings, is also acceptable.

  • Boys are recommended to wear a tight-fitting shirt, a boys' leotard, or a t-shirt that can tuck in, paired with athletic shorts or tight-fitting shorts.

  • No outdoor shoes are allowed inside the training area.

  • Socks are not recommended as they can be slippery on certain surfaces and equipment. We recommend doing the class barefoot or wearing proper gymnastics shoes.

  • No necklaces, bracelets, earrings, or other jewellery may be worn during training sessions. Please leave all jewellery at home or store it in a safe place before class.

  • Hair must be tied up and away from the face to avoid distraction and injury during class.

Thank you for your cooperation in maintaining a safe and professional learning environment.
